A prefabricated structure, is a structure which has components manufactured in an off-site industrial facility. They are sometimes referred to as factory-made or modular structures, although there are some notable differences. In a prefab structure, components are made in house and transported in a flat-pack form lowering logistical costs, whereas modular homes have entire sections of the given structure built off site. By opting for Prefab; human error, waste, time, energy & costs are significantly reduced allowing for efficient construction.

Ready-mix concrete is concrete that is manufactured in a factory or batching plant, according to a set recipe, and then delivered to a work site by truck mounted in–transit mixers. This results in a precise mixture, allowing specialty concrete mixtures to be developed and implemented on construction sites. The first ready-mix factory was built in the 1930s, but the industry did not begin to expand significantly until the 1960s, and it has continued to grow since then.Ready-mix concrete is often preferred over on-site concrete mixing because of the precision of the mixture and reduced work site confusion.
Ready-mix concrete, or RMC as it is popularly called, refers to concrete that is specifically manufactured for delivery to the customer’s construction site in a freshly mixed and plastic or unhardened state. Concrete itself is a mixture of Portland cement, water and aggregates comprising sand and gravel or crushed stone. Ready-mix concrete is bought and sold by volume – usually expressed in cubic meters (cubic yards in the US).

घर बनाउँदा विभिन्न पक्षमा ध्यान दिनुपर्छ । एकपटक बनाइसकेको संरचना फेरि भत्काउनुपर्‍यो भने श्रम, समय र पैसा सबैको व्यर्थ हुन्छ । यस्तो समस्या आउन नदिन घर बनाउने क्रममा अपनाउनुपर्ने सचेतना र सावधानीप्रति जानकार रहनुपर्छ । कुनै पनि घर टिकाउ हुन त्यसको आन्तरिक बनोट मजबूत एवम् विधिसम्मत तरीकाले निर्माण गरिएको हुनुपर्छ ।

तीन तला र १ हजार वर्गफीट प्लिन्थ क्षेत्रफलसम्मको घरमा दुई पिलरबीचको लामो दूरी १४ फीट ९ इञ्च र छोटो दूरी १० फीटभन्दा बढी नभएको अवस्थामा निम्नानुसार डण्डी राख्न सकिन्छ :
बीममा तलमाथि कम्तीमा १६ मिलिमिटर (५ लाइन)को दुई/दुईओटा डण्डी राख्नुपर्छ ।
बीमको लम्बाइअनुसार तलमाथि राखिएका डण्डीबाहेक थप डण्डी पनि राख्नुपर्छ । यस्ता डण्डीमा थप गर्दा बीमको लम्बाइको १/३ भाग लामो हुनुपर्छ । उक्त लम्बाइ पिलरको भित्री छेउबाट मात्र नापिनुपर्छ । बीमको तल थप गरिने डण्डी लम्बाइको बीच भागमा राख्नुपर्छ । त्यस्ता डण्डी दुवैपट्टिबाट बीमको लम्बाइको १/६ भागसम्म जानुपर्छ ।
