JCB equipment used in clearing the route blocked by landslide

JCB clearing roads at blocked mid-hill highway

Baglung Burtibang section of the mid-hill highway has been blocked due to the debris. 

The attempts to remove the debris are underway after 10 days of road blockage due to big rocks brought down by the dry landslide at Badigad VDC-7, Bhimgeth.

JCB equipment is being used for clearing the route blocked by the landslide.

As Dashain is near, the engineers are under pressure to clear the highway as soon as possible. However, as the landslide was huge, it will take long time to clear the debris and restore the highway to normal condition.

According to the engineers, it will take minimum 15 days to open the track.
